  • Personality: Reclusive, rarely seen, but thoughtful and considerate of those around him. Quite a bit pacifistic, he won't ever attack first, and will only attack when his safety is threatened. The same goes for the safety of his home, its residents, or his friends.
  • Mannerisms: Slow, an attribute of his size. When running, his size gives him an advantage by leaps and bounds, but he will almost never run unless the occasion absolutely demands it. He is much like an old man, more fond of a slow and calm environment as opposed to a fast and busy one.
  • Likes: Earth, gardens, controlled elements (fire included if well-controlled and kept away from dry flora and fauna), weather, music, watching a good sparring match, calm company.
  • Dislikes: Uncontrolled elements like fire or flood waters, anyone that would harm his forest, uneducated masses, cities with no gardens or courtyards, unruly and/or generally drunken company.

• Description

  A large, earthen creature. His face of stone, his lower jaw also like that of a tree, with jagged formations protruding upward like the teeth of an alligator. Dirt compiled over his head, causing grass to grow over his stony cranium. A fairy circle outlined by mushrooms sat neatly between two trees erect at the top of his head, next to them two oddly shaped rock formations, the left eroded and broken away. Moss grew on each rock on his massive body, his arms and legs like winding trees around a rod of stone. At the end of those limbs were located small boulders acting as fingertips and toes. However, when unearthed, the stone at his center was warm, comfortably radiating into the air. Thus, above-ground, dirt often fell with each move, vines and tree roots hanging and moving on their own, as if completely sentient limbs. When up, he left a strangely shaped crater in the ground; And when filling the crater, he would blend in seamlessly with his environment, as if he never existed to begin with.

• Biography

  Olkva'es has been around for an exceptionally long time, long enough that he calls it since the beginning of time. Being that he was awoken with no knowledge of any history pertaining to any cities, villages or towns, and absolutely no knowledge of the history regarding the world itself or when it started. To him, that was considered the beginning of time, and he could say just how many lifespans of trees he'd seen as he watched over them from seedlings to death. He slept every winter among evergreens and deciduous trees, watching his forest gradually grow from its very beginnings until it was a lush paradise. Often he had to contend with some ne'er do well ruffian intending harm, only once barely averting disaster. His forest was set ablaze, and the greater part of it was burnt to the ground. It took him years of carefully tending it to bring it back to its former glory, but the experience was altogether unforgettable. After that, he was very concerned by passing strangers, but did well to keep the crime rates low by diverting highway and forest robberies performed by bandits and highwaymen as more villages, towns, and even cities came into being. Some time in the future, a few tribes had come to see him as a kind of god, although he'd never done anything to give them this idea. It was his entire being that convinced them, despite his adamant belief that he was only a tool to protect the forest, rather than to be worshiped. Eventually, he fell asleep when everything in the forest had been maintained to his pleasure, leaving it to rest and the devices of its residents, knowing that a great many were capable of holding down the fort while he slept. Before he knew it, there was a port city named Cragsfall, news being borne to him by his faithful messenger Faun. He agreed to take it in stride, one day to be happened upon by one Roawan Hrojnir.
